Japanese Traditional Thatched Roof House with Open-Air Bath Luxurious Ryokan-Style Hotel in Miyama, Kyoto, for only one Group per Day.
Two photographers have restored a 115-year-old high-quality traditional Japanese thatched roof house in Miyama, Kyoto. Without changing the original form of the traditional Japanese house, they restored and reused the traditional fittings by themselves, and renovated the interior to suit the modern lifestyle while retaining the traditional long wooden veranda and tatami rooms with a view of the Japanese garden covered with vivid green moss. If you go upstairs, you can see the traditional Japanese thatched roof and enjoy the photo exhibition in "The Thatched Roof Gallery & Library". From the open-air Japanese pottery bathtub and indoor Japanese cypress bathtub, you can see the illuminated Kura, traditional Japanese warehouse with garden. For food, you can enjoy from our local dishes to Spanish cuisines. The most popular optional service is the portrait photo session by the two photographers in the traditional Japanese wooden veranda of the tatami room in front of the garden.

Indoor floor area has180㎡ plus attic with thatched roof. A bedroom with a veranda overlooking the traditional storehouse, an open-air Japanese pottery bathtub in the garden, a Japanese cypress wooden bath with a view of the garden, a dining kitchen with a hearth table and a wood-burning stove, a tatami room with a garden and veranda like a Japanese Buddhist temple, and more.

Modern facilities and amenities are installed so that you can stay comfortably in a 115-year-old house. Air conditioner, wood-burning stove, bed, Wi-Fi, open-air Japanese pottery bathtub in the garden, indoor Japanese cedar wooden bathtub, fully equipped kitchen, smooth bed linen made in Kyoto, and various other amenities are some of them. The house has also a traditional Japanese garden, BBQ garden terrace, star observation wood deck, and etc. Spend your time as you want on the 1200㎡ premises.
